I can never get enough of Copenhagen. There’s something about it that just hooks you in. Maybe it’s the design scene, the friendly (and stylish) locals or the incomparable food, it always leaves me feeling inspired. I’m not surprised it’s regularly named the happiest city in the world.
I know how much you loved my last list of CPH recs (I see you on Instagram!), so after recently returning from another trip to the Danish city, I thought I’d share a few more. Visiting during the summer months means plenty of strolling by the canal, alfresco dining (of course) and natural wines in the sun. It’s the perfect place to go to recharge.
Whether you live nearby, are in town for fashion week or planning a visit soon, I’ll leave you with a list of the places I always return to in Copenhagen. Happy exploring!

1. Apollo Bar – For breakfast, dinner and anything in between. There’s a patio for alfresco dining, too.
2. Poulette – I’d fly back for the chicken sandwich here in a heartbeat!
3. Barabba – Lives up to the hype. Italian food, natural wines, great vibes.
4. Pompette – A bar with the perfect natural wine selection.
5. Bar Vitrine – Worth the wait (it’s walk-in only) for the small plates with an Indian twist.

6. Sonny – Such a great breakfast/lunch spot.
7. Bar Moro – Great Mediterranean flavours, and right by the lakes for a post-dinner stroll.
8. Fiskebaren – For super-fresh, delicious seafood.
9. La Banchina – A tiny restaurant and bar on the water. There’s also an onsite sauna.
10. Popl Burger – A neighbourhood spot serving locally sourced, seasonal produce.
