Next week, the winner of the International Booker Prize will be announced. It’s an award that’s close to my heart, as it spotlights the best novels and short story collections from around the world that have been translated into English. I’m often drawn to books originally written in other languages and I love that this prize celebrates the translator, as well as the author. Read my interview with the Service95 team, where I share the reasons why I wanted to be involved. This week, in honour of the International Prize, we are highlighting some amazing global stories for you. And below, find my six favourite translated reads. Let’s go!

- The Unbearable Lightness Of Being by Milan Kundera
- Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
- Bad Habit by Alana S Portero
