After Service95 Book Club’s successful debut at the Hay Literary Festival in 2023 – where I got to interview Douglas Stuart, the author of our Book Club’s very first Monthly Read, Shuggie Bain – I am so excited to announce that we’ll be back again this year! Sadly, I won’t be able to make it in person this time, but we have been working hard on curating a great series of events for you, including talks with authors Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀ and George The Poet (check out the full line-up here). I will most definitely be there in spirit through all my favourite books, which you’ll find on the Service95 bookshelf at the festival.
