I am so excited to introduce my Monthly Read for March – Trust by Hernan Diaz. Set in New York City in the Roaring ’20s and ’30s, it tells the story of one of the wealthiest fictional couples in the world through four ‘books’ – a novel, a manuscript, a memoir and a diary. Exploring identity and how money and power can twist reality, each story has a specific relationship to the truth. The question is, whose voice do you trust? As an invitation to consider why we find some stories more reliable than others, I was obsessed with this book and I hope you are too.
Speaking of culture we’re obsessed with, this issue is filled with some of the other fiction, TV, film and theatre we’re loving and looking forward to right now.
