Dua’s Top 5 Restaurants In Singapore

Dua’s Top 5 Restaurants In Singapore

I can hardly believe that by the time you read this, I’ll have already wrapped up the Asia leg of the Radical Optimism tour! It feels like I blinked, and it was over... What an incredible time it’s been – 12 shows across five weeks and so much fun! Not only did I have the privilege of performing in front of some truly amazing crowds, I also had the chance to explore so many new places along the way.

I’ve gathered loads of recommendations that I’m excited to share with you all – from where to eat and drink to the best karaoke spots. I’ll be spreading them out over the next couple of months, so keep your eyes peeled! For now, I wanted to kick things off with my top restaurant picks from my time in Singapore. Honestly, I’m still dreaming about those flavours...

  1. Maxwell Food Centre – A true Singaporean food haven, where you’ll find local favourites such as chicken rice. Simple, delicious, and served with love.
  2. Firangi Superstar – Where Indian street food meets fine dining. It’s a modern twist on traditional Indian flavours – a must-visit!
  3. 328 Katong Laksa – Prepare your tastebuds for a fiery kick! Here, they serve up one of Singapore’s most iconic dishes, Laksa soup. A spicy, soul-warming bowl you won’t forget.
  4. Nixta – A huge highlight, bringing Mexico to the heart of Singapore. Think smoky mezcal cocktails and mouthwatering tacos.
  5. New Ubin Seafood – I’m still thinking about the fresh seafood at Ubin, but if seafood is not your thing, don’t worry, there’s something on the menu for everyone. I’ll be amazed if there isn’t!
