Announcing August’s Monthly Read... Half Of A Yellow Sun

August marks Service95 Book Club’s third Monthly Read, which I’m thrilled to say is the incredible Half Of A Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Set in 1960s Nigeria before and during the Biafran War, Ngozi Adichie skilfully balances truth and fiction to give a sense of what was at stake for those who lived through the conflict. Against this backdrop is the gripping story of love, jealousy, infidelity and forgiveness for the characters Olanna, Odenigbo, Kainene and Richard. I can’t express how much I’m enjoying reading with you and am so excited to hear what you think of this modern classic. Follow along on service95.com and our socials for exclusive content – you won’t want to miss it.
