It’s that time in January where lots of us are craving a getaway, and if there’s one destination to add to your travel bucket list, I’d highly suggest booking a Bangkok adventure – it was my favourite destination from my Asia tour last year. The city is constantly buzzing with energy. Exploring places like this always reminds me why I’m so passionate about travelling – it fuels my creativity and I love soaking up different cultures.
Naturally, I couldn’t resist highlighting some food and drink hotspots (plus a not-to-be-missed landmark) from my trip. So for anyone planning a visit, make sure you check out these gems:
- Haawm – An amazing little supper club-style restaurant, made even better by the fact it’s BYOB!
- Jay Fai – I had the most unreal crab omelette at this walk-in spot.
- House Of Heals – The drag nights at this venue are so much fun.
- Mod Kaew Wine Bar –You know me, I’ll always somewhere that serves natural wine, and this little bar was great!
- The Grand Palace – A beautiful complex of temples in the heart of the city, which also used to be the old residence of the Kings of Siam and Thailand.
