Sashi Perera

Sashi Perera is a comedian, writer and recovering lawyer. She was born in Colombo, raised in Perth and worked with refugee organisations around the world. After falling into comedy she has become one of Australia’s fastest rising comedians, selling out shows in six countries. Penguin Random House published her memoir, Standstill, in 2025 and this year she’s touring new show Pear Tree around the UK and beyond.
