Bolu Babalola

Bolu Babalola is a British-Nigerian with a degree in law and a Master’s in American Politics & History from UCL. She is a writer of books, scripts, culture pieces and retorts. Her short story collection, Love In Colour (2020), was a Times bestseller and was shortlisted for Waterstones Book of the Year. Her debut novel, Honey & Spice (2022) was a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick and won the TikTok Award for Book Of The Year. The sequel, Sweet Heat, was published in 2025. Bolu is now writing the script for Working Title's adaptation of Honey & Spice.
